Right to Run 19K
Calling all runners! Be a part of history – join us in Seneca Falls!
Generations Bank is the organizing sponsor for the Inaugural Right to Run 19K 5K happening on Saturday May, 7, 2016.
Running legend Kathrine Switzer is the National Spokesperson for this event and will be in town for the days leading up to the event and will be handing out awards at the finish line. She is no stranger to Seneca Falls; she was here in 2011 when she was inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame.
The event features a 19K and a 5K (19K distance is a nod to the 19th amendment, a perfect distance to run in Seneca Falls – the birth place of Women’s Rights). This is a fundraising event for the transformation of the Seneca Knitting Mill - the future home of the National Women's Hall of Fame.
