New Year's Murder Mystery Weekend at Sutherland House B&B

Looking for a fun and exciting way to bring in the New Year?  Come catch a killer at the second annual Sutherland House New Year's Murder Mystery Weekend, December 30th, 2017 to January 1, 2018 at our Canandaigua B&B!

During the 2017-2018 New Year's Weekend, Sutherland House will transform into "The Juice Joint", a swanky speakeasy and inn celebrating New Year's Eve, 1925.  Prohibition and organized crime set the scene as the social elite gather at The Juice Joint to ring in the New Year.  What dastardly crime will befoul their celebratory plans?  Who is the intended victim, and, more importantly - who dunnit?

This is your chance to step back in time, as well into a different character.  Mobsters, molls, swanky singers, crooked police and more.  Murder Mystery Weekend guests are encouraged to dress up for their roles. Each guest will receive a sealed envelope containing all they need to know to play their character and part in the mystery.  Sutherland House will direct the game and help to keep in flowing smoothly throughout the weekend.  All you really need to play is a sense of fun and a detective mindset.  

The game begins Saturday afternoon and continues throughout the weekend with plenty of breaks to sight see, shop, visit the wineries or breweries, or just relax.  Midnight, Sunday, of course, the celebration will turn to ringing in the New Year.  Monday morning we'll make our accustation before the Chief Inspector and unravel the mystery.
