McGregor Vineyard Black Russian Red Winemaker Dinner
On Saturday, March 4th, McGregor Vineyard and the New York Wine & Culinary Center (NYWCC) will partner for a winemaker dinner featuring a broad selection of wines, presented by owner and winemaker John McGregor, paired with local fare prepared by NYWCC chefs.
McGregor Vineyard is one of the oldest wineries in the Finger Lakes, featuring estate grown and bottled vinifera wines. Today, McGregor Vineyard has over ten varieties of grapes, initially thought to be impossible to grow in the Finger Lakes climate. The unique blend of Saperavi & Sereksiya Charni creates their Black Russian Red – the cult red wine of the Finger Lakes Region, and the highlight of this dinner.
