Holiday Gingerbread House Display and Silent Auction - to benefit Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of Ontario County invites you to join them for a fun family holiday event in Historic Downtown Canandaigua. Over 25 handmade gingerbread houses will be on display at Canandaigua businesses from November 17 through December 8. Visitors and shoppers can feast their eyes on this marvelous display while bidding on their favorite gingerbread creation to bring home as a holiday decoration. Proceeds from the auction support local families in need of affordable housing.
Stroll downtown to visit all locations, complete a Gingerbread House Tour “Passport”, see the contest winners, and enjoy historic downtown while making progress on your holiday shopping. Gingerbread Passports can be picked up at any participating location during business hours – look for the Gingerbread Man in the window. After touring the whimsical collection, completed passports can be dropped off at the Canandaigua BID Office at 115 Main Street to enter for a chance to win a $250 gift basket from Sweet Expression!
Silent auction funds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Ontario County. Bid on a gingerbread house to help more Ontario County families build or repair a place they call home.
This event is a partnership between Habitat for Humanity of Ontario County and the Canandaigua Business Improvement District (BID).
