Chamber University: Worksite Wellness--Programs & Services To Offer Your Employees
Why is worksite wellness important to incorporate into businesses? You'll find out at this presentation where we will be discussing the free services that local agencies provide for businesses such as Lunch and Learns, free evidence based training, help with creating healthy policies specific to your organization that can save your business in the long run.

COST: $20 for members, $50 non-members (non-members must pay at time of registration). Includes presentation and boxed lunch.

Christine Lotyczewski is a Public Health Nurse from Ontario County, where she has the title of Chronic Disease Program Coordinator. She has been a nurse for 11 years and is a B.S.N. graduate from SUNY Brockport, has a M.S. from the University Of Rochester School Of Nursing and is certified as a Clinical Nurse Leader. Christine has helped individuals on their path to wellness in the hospital and academic setting. She now works with community members promoting health, community resources, and providing education. She is passionate about health equity, as well as filling the gaps in healthcare.
Mrs. Lotyczewski currently sits on the Regional Worksite Wellness Coalition that focuses on ways to improve the health and wellness of employees at the worksite. She enjoys working on projects that tie in health promotion at the community level.

Brigid Heenan is a Health Promotion Specialist with the Tobacco Action Coalition of the Finger Lakes, a grant program held by the American Lung Association. She has been with TACFL for two years and has a Master of Public Health from SUNY Albany. Brigid works with communities, businesses, and property managers in Ontario, Wayne, Seneca, and Yates counties to implement tobacco-free policies, protecting individuals from secondhand smoke. She provides education on the health effects of tobacco use, secondhand smoke exposure, and the influence of tobacco marketing on youth.
Ms. Heenan is part of the Regional Worksite Wellness Coalition, collaborating with other community partners to create healthy workplace strategies. She feels that healthy employees are a key to a healthy bottom line.

James Warren, Council on Alcohol and Addictions in the Finger Lakes CAAFL
James Warren is a certified teacher who enjoys his family and the great outdoors. He is currently employed with The Council on Alcoholism and Addictions of the Finger Lakes. James is passionate about prevention education. His believes that people of all ages can make healthy life decisions and avoid future addictions. When out of work you will find James trying to grow something in the garden or riding a bike with his kids.
