Chamber committees are open to all members of the Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce & their employees. These committees provide an opportunity for our members to have a voice in program development, community activities, advocacy and issues affecting the Chamber or the business community. Mission: To strengthen member retention through one-on-one member contact. To enhance the net growth of the Chamber membership through effective retention and recruitment practices, and marketing of chamber programs and services.
This committee meets the first Thursday of the Month at 8:30 AM at the Chamber. Committee volunteers at various Chamber events, and assists first year members to maximize their membership. A great opportunity to meet other local businesses.
Chamber Golf Committee
The Chamber's Annual Ralph Sheridan Golf Classic is an annual Chamber fundraiser. The committee assists with the event planning, recruits sponsors & golfers, and is a great opportunity to network. Committee meets one to two times a month starting in April.
Community Affairs Committee
Mission: To study and analyze issues of interest to Canandaigua and its business community, recommend advocacy positions on those issues to the Board, and communicate the Chamber’s viewpoint clearly and strongly to our members, elected officials, and the community at large.
Canandaigua Lake Trout Derby Committee
Mission: To organize annual fishing derby promoting Canandaigua and benefiting Camp Good Days & Special Times and Mercy Flight Central.
Mission: To encourage and further develop travel and tourism opportunities as a means of supporting the Canandaigua Area’s business and economic vitality through collective communication, collaboration, and community leadership.
