Committees

Chamber committees are open to all members of the Canandaigua Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s committees provide an opportunity for our members to have a voice in program development, community activities, advocacy and issues affecting the Chamber.

Ambassadors Club

Mission:  To strengthen retention through one-on-one member contact. Members of the club should be active members of the chamber at least one year prior to joining club.

Chamber Events

Assist various planning committees at different times of the year, organizing annual golf tournament, annual dinner and other chamber events.

Community Affairs Committee

Mission:  To study and analyze issues of interest to Canandaigua and its business community, recommend advocacy positions on those issues to the Board, and communicate the Chamber’s viewpoint clearly and strongly to our members, elected officials, and the community at large.

Lake Trout Derby Committee

Mission:  To organize annual fishing derby promoting Canandaigua and benefiting Camp Good Days & Special Times and Mercy Flight Central.

Membership/Marketing Committee

Mission:  To enhance the net growth of the Chamber membership through effective retention and recruitment practices, and marketing of chamber programs and services.

Tourism Committee

Mission:  To advance travel and tourism as a means of supporting business and economic vitality through awareness, leadership, promotion, and brochure development.
